Testing Out Biodance’s Gel Toner Pads!

Biodance’s Bio Collagen Real Deep Mask kick-started the hydrogel skin care craze on social media with its promise of deep skin nourishment and rejuvenation. Designed to be worn overnight, the collagen-packed sleeping mask is the ultimate indulgence for plump and radiant skin. 

But let’s face it − there are days when we don’t have the time (or patience) for an overnight treatment. That’s where Biodance’s hydrogel toner pads come in! Boasting a jelly-like texture, these toner pads provide cooling care and maximum hydration with none of the stickiness. Compact, convenient and mess-free, they’re perfect for on-the-go use.

I’ve tested Biodance’s Gel Toner Pads: Collagen Gel Toner Pads, Cera-nol Gel Toner Pads and Vita Niacinamide Gel Toner Pads. Fellow editor Kimberley tried the Sea Kelp Gel Toner Pads. Read on for our thoughts on these beauty must-haves and their different benefits!

Collagen Gel Toner Pads

Packed with low-molecular collagen, oligo hyaluronic acid and galactomyces ferment filtrate, these toner pads offer the same firming, hydrating and skin-rejuvenating benefits as the cult-fave Bio Collagen Real Deep Mask! Six types of peptides and elastin boost skin elasticity and soften fine lines, while allantoin provides a soothing effect.

Each toner pad is generously soaked in essence, delivering instant moisture that left my skin plump, smooth and refreshed after each use. The gel-coated surface of the toner pad feels cooling on my skin, making it a summer skin care essential! While I’m unable to attest to the product’s firming ability as that requires long-term use, I’m impressed with the immediate soothing and hydrating effects.

Cera-nol Gel Toner Pads

These toner pads are infused with ten types of hyaluronic acid and five kinds of ceramides to replenish moisture levels and improve skin barrier function. Panthenol and allantoin work together to tamp down irritation and redness, promoting clear and healthy-looking skin. 

Compared to Biodance’s collagen sleeping mask, these toner pads have a lighter, more watery consistency that absorbs quickly to deliver a powerful hydration boost. After application, the toner pad left my skin soft, supple and comfortable all day long. Within a few days of use, my skin looked visibly healthier with a natural glow.

Sea Kelp Gel Toner Pads

Formulated with lactobacillus/kelp ferment filtrate, allantoin and mineral-rich deep sea water, these toner pads regulate sebum production and purify pores while keeping flare-ups at bay. Additional spirulina and seaweed extracts offer antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The pore care pads would do wonders for those with oily and acne-prone skin.

Fellow editor Kimberley, who has oily and acne-prone skin, used the Sea Kelp Gel Toner Pads  to prep her skin in the morning before makeup. After a two-week trial, she was very pleased with the results, including less acne breakouts and greasiness on her T-zone. One toner pad goes a long way: after swiping on her cleansed face, she used the remaining solution on her neck and elbows.

Vita Niacinamide Gel Toner Pads

These toner pads are drenched in pineapple fruit water, niacinamide and glutathione to combat hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone while gently exfoliating skin to reveal a brighter and more refined complexion. It contains turmeric root and red seaweed extracts for an extra boost of radiance and protection against free radical damage.

I love how gentle these toner pads felt on my sensitive skin, while providing mild exfoliation. My skin became brighter and smoother after just one week of use! The formula hydrated my skin without any sticky or greasy after-feel.
